1966 DAIMLER MARK 2-3 MDL B CAR SCOUT AT

This 1966 Daimler Ferret Mark 2 is an unrestored armored scout car which was housed in a private collection for several years and was purchased by the seller in February 2020. This machine was operated by a 2-person crew and was extremely strong with the Rolls Royce Inline 6. A decommissioned .30 caliber Browning machine gun is mounted in the rotating turret and the waterproof hull is constructed from steel plates. Triple-tubed smoke grenade launchers are located on each of the front fenders, and storage compartments are present throughout. Independent double-wishbone suspension uses coil springs and six hydraulic dampers, while braking on all four wheels is accomplished via a hydraulic handbrake. The driver position is centered low to allow a peripheral view from 3 hinged hatches. This is a very cool machine that also comes with a maintenance history!! What a great piece of wartime memorabilia that has spent most of its life here in the US!
