Absolutely stunning and an award winning example, this 1969 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet is a piece of history that has been lightly used for the duration of its lifetime. The Mustang was built and delivered to SUn Valley Ford in California. Shortly after, the car was then delivered to Bill Stroppe of Holman-Moody-Stroppe. The car was then owned by singer Vic Damone and golfer Ken Ventura where it was a part of Damone/Ventura racing. Mr. Damone and Lee Iacocca appeared to be brother in laws and therefore was able to get a Ford Sponsorship. The Cobra Jet was petitioned by Ed Terry and Rick Schramack and received a letter of verification from Bill Stroppe. The Mustang also claimed the winner of NHRA in Amarillo, TX in 1970 as well as the class winner for the Super Ford National. The Cobra Jet still holds the original interior, original 1969 3-point roll cage, factory gauges, and a rare radio block-out plate. This is 1 of 42 Mustangs offered with the 428 Cobra Jet and a four speed manual transmission, all correct to the car and in excellent operating condition. She has only 5,200 original miles showing and is a fully complete and functional car that is ready to show or be raced. The Ford is an extremely rare, well documented piece of Ford racing history now available for the next owners collection!
