BEING SOLD WITH BILL OF SALE

Vintage cast aluminum RCA drive-in movie theater speaker

  • Heavy cast aluminum housing designed to withstand outdoor weather.
  • Features a blue center button with the classic RCA logo and a stamped “DRIVE-IN” mark at the top.
  • Horizontal grilles on the front to let sound pass through while protecting the internal speaker cone.
  • Popular during the 1950s and 1960s golden age of drive-in cinemas.
  • Patrons hung these speakers over their car windows to listen to the movie audio before low-power FM radio transmitters replaced them.
