The late Robert Tewes Jr. was more than a classic car owner—he was a lifelong automotive enthusiast whose passion for cars, especially Corvettes, runs deep through his family history. Raised in a family of car lovers, Robert began working in the automotive business at just 13 years old. His father, Robert Tewes Sr., founded Car Care Clinic in April 1977, one of Jackson, Mississippi’s first 10-minute oil change shops. Robert Jr. took over the business in 2002, expanding it to 14 successful locations across the Jackson Metro area.
Under his leadership, Car Care Clinic became one of the largest privately owned automotive service companies in Mississippi, driven by his philosophy of learning by doing, treating people right, and maintaining impeccable standards of care—values that extended to his car collection.
Robert’s classic Corvette collection is a reflection of his deep appreciation for American automotive history and meticulous maintenance standards. The collection includes a 1963 Corvette originally owned by his father – a special vehicle that speaks to the roots of the Tewes family’s passion. Each car in the collection has been lovingly preserved and well cared for, just as Robert did with every customer vehicle in his decades-long career.
For collectors and enthusiasts alike, this isn’t just an opportunity to own a beautiful piece of American muscle—it’s a chance to purchase a vehicle owned by someone who dedicated his life to automotive excellence.
