This beautiful restoration is a 1985 Chevrolet Blazer with a Blue Print crate engine; part number BP35513CTC1. New Polyurethane motor mounts and transmission mounts were recently installed. In fact, the only components not replaced under the hood are the radiator, brake booster and wiper motor. The transmission is a 700R and was rebuilt by a reliable local transmission service. The headers are ceramic coated with a Borla exhaust. Heavy duty clutches and upgraded planetary were used, as well as a complete rebuild on the NP208 transfer case. All new polyurethane leaf spring and body bushing installed. Lift kit is a 4″ with no blocks on rear springs by ORD reverse leaf spring hangers. The rear holds a new Tom Woods custom double cardan driveshaft. New vintage air conditioning, new American Wire harness, new dash pad and Dakota digital VHX gauge cluster have also been added. Every door switch and dash switch replaced. Body was media blasted and epoxy primer applied. Rust area found above windshield on passenger side was cut out and new metal welded in. Also a area behind drivers side roof and where the top mounts to roof. All rust was cut out and replaced with new metal. The paint on bottom is a House of Color Candy Rootbeer sits nicely under the top portion of the truck which was painted in White Pearl and finished with five coats of clear coat. Pen stripping was performed by a local pen stripe gentleman. It’s variegated gold leaf. All new window and door seals used during assembly. New bumpers, receiver hitch and new electric trailer brake system installed. Alpine stereo with all the bells and whistles. Amp is a 6 channel 4×75 watts and 2×250 watts. Has 4 each 6-1/2″ kicker 2 way speakers and 2 each 10″ kicker subwoofers. Made custom side panels and speaker boxes. Upholstery was performed by local upholstery shop except for the door panels which were purchased from TMI products.
